I would be so proud to have been in this band playing lead trumpet.  What a performance!

I remember hearing this back in grade school from one of my music teachers, along with a long speech about trying new things etc etc. Pretty cool experiment really, even cooler that it became such a huge success. Funniest thing I read about this was in 1994 BBC canceled the broadcast of a short film celebrating Portsmouth Sinfonia because Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra was concerned the public might confuse the two orchestras.
